Many options for barrel profile/weight are
available. For example:
Full bull target barrel at one inch diameter to the muzzle.
Heavy Varmint taper to muzzle diameter of .850 inch.
Medium Varmint taper to muzzle diameter of .800 inch.
Light Varmint taper to muzzle diameter of .750 inch.
Heaver Sporter taper to muzzle diameter of .700 inch.
Medium Sporter taper to muzzle diameter of .650 inch.
Light Sporter taper to muzzle diameter of .600 inch.
We will produce barrels with smaller muzzle diameters only if someone
has a special purpose barrel in mind.
Note: These tapers will start 5 inches ahead
of the breech to allow ample room for scope mounting using any manufacturer's
hardware and to allow the rearmost forearm hanger bar dovetail position
on this full bull portion of the barrel.
Large bore barrels ordered with muzzlebrakes will
be limited in profile options. Call for specific set-ups according
to bore dimensions.
Unlike our Contender barrel forearm hanger
bar, we will have bars of different configuration to match the various
profiles, allowing the bar and forearm to always mount parallel to
the bore.

Scope Mounting
As a courtesy
to our barrel customers we will gladly supply many popular
brands of scope at very competitive prices. Call on specific
scope prices for your custom barrels in rifle and pistol configuration.
We will mount ordered scopes for you at your request.
If you already have
a scope for a custom Bullberry barrel in-the-works send it
to us for mounting and bore-sighting at no charge. |
Factory
Encore Barrel Alterations
If
you have a factory Encore that you are interested in having set-up
with our hanger bar system simply send it in with your contact information
and request for work. We modify barrels by cutting our standard dovetails
into the bottom of the barrel, then install dovetailed inserts and
our hanger bar. The modification is $35 per barrel (plus return shipping)
and will allow for any of the standard Bullberry/Woodsmith forearms
we offer to free float, maximizing your barrel's accuracy potential.
This operation does not take the lead-time of a custom barrel order.
Such items are placed in current production batches and may take up
to two to four weeks depending on production schedules at time of
arrival. Accompanying custom woodwork orders may increase this estimated
time of completion.

We supply frame assemblies to our barrel customers as a courtesy.
"Frame Only" sales will not be completed due to our special
inventory of these items. In addition, combination orders (those
including barrel(s) and frame, etc.) will have frame transfers completed
at the end of the barrel's production run, unless otherwise requested
at the time of order.
Frame purchases require an FFL for out-of-state transfers. Transfers
to customers within Utah require them to be in our shop to supply
ID and signature for full transfer through our facility. If this
is not possible a transfer will require an FFL and function like
an out-of-state customer order.
If you already
own your Encore, trigger adjustments are available for $40 plus return
shipping determined by zipcode. Send your frame with a signed request
stating the specific pull you would like. We will not only set the
pull, but also lessen the felt creep by creating a glass-smooth sear
surface for optimum engagement. If purchasing a frame through us a
trigger adjustment, at your request, is included in the price of the
frame.
