Custom 20 Ga. Rifled Slug Encore® Barrels
These limited production barrels are once again available for custom order. We are dealing directly with the importer of these high quality Verney-Carron barrels to make high-performance rifled slug barrels for the Encore.
Bullberry was approached a few years ago by Hastings shotgun/accessories manufacturers to produce these barrels. After a small run of their 3 1/2" Custom Magnum chamberings Hastings went out of business and access to the high-quality barrel blanks was no longer available. Now that barrels are available again we have purchased a small quantity of blanks and are ready to make thme into finished barrels!
We can chamber for the 3 1/2" custom length, or the more standard 3" or 2 3/4" as requested. Hastings 3 1/2" Magnum components remain available from SlugsRUs.com, along with great Sabot Pressure Wads that maximize these barrels' performance. With the right components in these barrels you can expect increased slug stability and amazing accuracy.
Limited options (in comparison to our standard caliber list) are available for barrel profile/weight:
Full bull barrel at one inch diameter to the muzzle.
Heavy Varmint taper to muzzle diameter of .850"
Medium Varmint taper to muzzle diameter of .800"
Note: The tapers on the Varmint weight barrels will start 5 inches ahead
of the breech to allow ample room for scope mounting using any manufacturer's
hardware and to allow the rearmost forearm hanger bar dovetail position
on this full bull portion of the barrel.

Scope Mounting

to our barrel customers we will gladly supply many popular
brands of scope at very competitive prices. Call on specific
scope prices for your custom barrels in rifle and pistol configuration.
We will mount ordered scopes for you at your request.

a scope for a custom Bullberry barrel in-the-works send it
to us for mounting and bore-sighting at no charge. |

We supply frame assemblies to our barrel customers as a courtesy.
"Frame Only" sales will not be completed due to our special
inventory of these items. In addition, combination orders (those
including barrel(s) and frame, etc.) will have frame transfers completed
at the end of the barrel's production run, unless otherwise requested
at the time of order.
Frame purchases require an FFL for out-of-state transfers. Transfers
to customers within Utah require them to be in our shop to supply
ID and signature for full transfer through our facility. If this
is not possible a frame sale will require an FFL and function like
an out-of-state customer order.
Trigger Adjustment
If
you already own your Encore, ProHunter or Endeavor action, trigger adjustments are
available for $60, plus return shipping. Send your frame with a signed
request stating the specific pull you would like. We will not only
set the pull, but also lessen the felt creep by creating a glass-smooth
sear surface for optimum engagement. When purchasing a frame through
us a trigger adjustment can be included in the purchase for just $25. You may also request the installation of an overtravel screw if your frame does not have one. This will be done at no additional fee.
