Fred,
I got a .284 Winchester Encore from you several months
back. It took me a while to find a load and bullet that I liked, but
I got it to start stacking and packing in the same holes.
In any event, I took it to Montana over Thanksgiving
and wouldn't you know it? This fellow walked out at 50 yds--after I
spent lots of time, ammo, and etc. getting sighted in at 200 yrds. But
I'm not complaining.
Thanks for the rifle. With one shot, the 150g Nolser
partition piled him up bad.
Not a huge trophy elk, but a very nice 5x5 with
a kicker on one side.
Thanks for the rifle, it's all that and a bag of
chips.
