Dear Fred,
I can't say enough about my Bullberry .50 cal blackpowder. It's such a
pleasure to shoot and deadly accurate. Topped off with a Nikon 3-9 scope
it is very light to carry in the field. Loaded with a 285gr. Barnes
sabot and 2 of the 50gr. pyrodex pellets - I can get 1" groups at 100
yards and 3.5" groups at 200 yards. And when that 209 primer goes off -
there is never a thought about a misfire.
Two years ago I took a beautiful 6x6 elk in New Mexico. Numerous deer in
Alabama and Texas , and this year a nice antelope in Wyoming. This
antelope was standing on a ridge top at just over 200 yards when the
Barnes sabot slammed into his chest.
