I want to personally thank you for
building my wonderful 7mm-08 pistol. The barrel you built performed
absolutely perfect. I used it to take three great animals, all with
one shot I might add. I was using the 140 grain Barnes X bullets you
recommend. I took a super Blue Wildebeest at about 108 yards and dropped
it in its tracks. I was fortunate to hit it with good spine shot. It
was my first time to use the safari shooting sticks provided by our
professional hunter. I think he was as surprised as I was when the animal
went straight down. I understand that is a little unusual with that
big of an animal. My next opportunity to use my pistol came on a world
class Red Hartebeest. This animal was traveling with three females and
let us sneak up to 110 yards before separating himself so I could take
a shot. I got lucky again and put him down with one single shot to the
top of his shoulders severing his spine. Last but not least was a really
ugly wart hog. That was a fun animal to stalk. I had more fun using
this pistol to make the adventure more challenging. Again, thank you
so much for doing such a professional job building this gun for me!
I could not be happier with the results of my trip or the performance
of my firearm.
