What can I say that so many others haven't said? What a rifle!!! I ordered
a Utility Grade stock / forend and received something beyond my wildest
imagination. My blued 209 x 50 is beautiful. The Paradox, English /
Black Walnut is incredible.
You said when the stock was finished it should have been a 'high' grade
or even exhibition 1 but you stuck to your word and sold it to me at
the promised price, utility. The picture doesn't do it justice, to truly
appreciate it. One must hold it,shoulder it, and most of all shoot it.
Though the deer is only a 2x2, it's my first Black Powder deer. It was
taken outside your home town of Beaver, Utah. An 80 yard, uphill shot
from kneeling with a Harris bi-pod brought him down where he stood.
Your recomendation of 2 Pyrodex pellets and a 240 gr. Hornady sabot
was right on. He literally did not take a step.
My friends think I'm crazy to bring this gun in the field but it is
for shooting. Any dings or scratches it may get are just character marks.
I have plans for a new barrel, something in the 300 range for elk.
